C&C (Boston Cards and Conversation)
is one of the most unique communities on Meetup. We get together to
play different types of games as a way to socialize and meet new people.
With locations all over Greater Boston, we provide all types of gaming
events to suit every possible interest. You don't have to be an expert
at any type of game to join. We're all about allowing people to get
together and make new friends. Our membership is amazingly diverse, with
singles and couples of all ages. All are welcome.
The majority of our events are indoors,
where we allow members to mingle while playing card and board games.
However, we also play outdoor games and sports too -- like miniature golf, laser tag, pool, bocce, geocaching and more! Our
goal is to provide ways to meet people, and to allow you to make
connections on a personal and professional level. Nothing like a game
of Apples to Apples to get the conversation rolling! Beantown Bridge Have you ever wanted to
learn and play Bridge? Getting tired of poker and want another
challenge? Want to know why business executives play Bridge to keep an
advantage in their careers? You've come to the right place!
Beantown Bridge is a causal Bridge
meetup in the Greater Boston area. Our mission is to bring back this
classic game to a new generation of game players. Our focus is not on competitive or professional play, but rather the social and fun aspect that has allowed the game to continue to thrive. Beantown Gamers I am looking for people who enjoy getting together and meeting up to
play fun board games which also require you to use your mind. Get smart,
get creative, but mostly, have some fun. Boston's Social Strategy (and Slightly Silly) Gamers This group is for those in Boston who like to play strategy (and
slightly silly) games and be social at the same time. We will not be playing Apples to Apples, LCR, or even
Monopoly here. Instead, the gaming focus of this group will be on
strategy games, games that make you think and plan ahead, such as Ticket
to Ride, Dominion, Puerto Rico, Settlers of Catan, Power Grid,
Agricola, and many more. Of course, we don't expect that you know how to
play all these games; we will always welcome newcomers and will
sometimes be learning these games ourselves for the first time.
Cambridge Pinochle Association (CPA)
The Cambridge Pinochle Association, founded on August 5, 2010, by
Tobor Shamus, is an not for profit organization financed and supported
by donations from its members. The CPA is for pinochle players of all ages and skill levels, from
expert to complete novice, we have many teaching meetups. We play for
fun! We do not discriminate against age, race, ethnicity, disabilities,
creed, politics, sexual identity, or economic standing. Our goal is have a fun time and to establish a network of pinochle
players who have a friendly, safe, and fun environment for playing
pinochle.
Free \ Cheap Things To Do In Boston
I wanted to start a group to give people ideas and options for things to
do in Boston that are free or don't cost lots of money! We can post
suggestions for meet-ups and then get together to experience what Boston
has to offer for those of us that can't/don't want to spend too much!
We can find out about things going on in Boston and make friends at the
same time :-)
Girls Just Want To Have Fun
Hi Ladies! Have you lost touch with your old girlfriends? Are you
looking for other girls to do things with like shopping, going out to
dinner, happy hour, talking, dancing, exercising, etc? Than this is the
group for you! Our group consists of young women from mid-twenties to
early forties. You can be single or in a relationship, it doesn't
matter. We will be having lots of events starting from dining out, happy
hour, going to the beach, shopping, skiing, the possibilities are
endless!
The Hub's Settlers of Catan Meetup We're a friendly group that gets together twice (or more) a month to
play one of the best games out there, Settlers of Catan. Settlers has
been called "The Monopoly of our time," and is quickly becoming one of
the most popular board games out there. Our group is open to anyone who
wants to play the game. If you've never played before, we'd love to
teach you how to play. For the more experienced player, we play all
varieties of the game, including the basic version, Cities &
Knights, Seafarers, the Catan histories, and more.

Mass Fun and Games is a social networking group for Meetup members who
live in southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We get together and
play different types of games as a way to socialize and meet new
people. You don't have to be an expert at any type of game to join.

SE Massachusetts 20's, 30's and 40's Couples
The group was started to meet other couples in their 20's, 30's and
40's. This group is designed for couples interested in meeting other
couples. Before you join, please consider that many of us are not into
the bar/club scene. We enjoy mini golf, checking out the newest restaurant, bowling,
concerts, hiking, the occasional play and even some epic Guitar
Hero/Rock Band/Halo battles. If a few or more of the above interest you, please feel free to join and hopefully we can meet face to face soon enough!
Social Fun
We are a large
group covering the New England Area with a small group feel since we
have local Area Organizers who run events in the Boston area, North,
South, and West of Boston, North Shore and in NH too. Goal: To have fun
through a mixture of events like: walks, hikes, bike rides, trivia, game
nights, dinners, movies, concerts, shows, plays, trips, parties etc. We
run joint events with other groups when appropriate. Relax sit back and
enjoy the fun ride with us.
